Ingredients

– 1 can of crescent roll dough
– 50 g of butterscotch chips
– 50 g of cream cheese
– 2 tbsp of brown sugar
– 1 tsp of vanilla extract
– 1 egg
– 1 tbsp of milk
– Icing sugar for dusting

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
2. In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles. Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
4. Sprinkle butterscotch chips on top of the cream cheese. Roll the dough up from the wide end to the pointed end.
5. Beat the egg with the milk and brush the mixture over each rolled danish. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden. Once cooled, dust icing sugar on top.
