Spicy Besan Arbi Roast: Delicious Colocasia Stir-Fry Recipe

Ingredients

– 500 g arbi (colocasia)
– 2 tablespoons besan (chickpea flour)
– 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
– 2 teaspoons red chili powder
– 1 teaspoon cumin powder
– 1 teaspoon coriander powder
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice
– Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Method

1. Begin by washing the colocasia thoroughly. Peel the skin and cut each piece into chunks.
2. Place the arbi chunks in a bowl. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well until all pieces are coated.
3. Sprinkle the besan over the seasoned arbi. Drizzle vegetable oil and lemon juice on top, then mix until evenly coated.
4. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and arrange the seasoned colocasia in a single layer.
5. Roast in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they turn crispy. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
