Ingredients
– 500 g colocasia (arbi), peeled and cut into pieces
– 60 ml besan (gram flour)
– 1 tsp red chili powder
– 1 tsp turmeric powder
– 1 tsp coriander powder
– 1 tsp cumin powder
– ½ tsp garam masala
– 2 tbsp vegetable oil
– Salt to taste
– Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Method
1. Begin by boiling the colocasia pieces in salted water until tender. Drain them well.
2. In a bowl, combine the besan, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt.
3. Add the boiled colocasia to the bowl and mix until all the pieces are coated with the spice mixture.
4. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the colocasia pieces and stir-fry until they turn golden brown.
5. Serve hot, garnished with fresh coriander leaves.
