Ingredients
500 g of pasta
2 tablespoons of olive oil
3 cloves of garlic, minced
400 g of canned tomatoes
1 teaspoon of dried basil
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
100 g of grated cheese
1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
Water for boiling
Method
Fill a large pot with water. Add a pinch of salt and bring it to a boil.
Once boiling, add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
In a separate pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 2 minutes.
Pour in the canned tomatoes, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer the sauce for about 10 minutes.
Drain the cooked pasta and mix it with the sauce. Serve topped with grated cheese and parsley.
