Ingredients
– 4 cups water
– 4 black tea bags
– 1 cup sugar
– 1 tablespoon baking soda
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice
– Ice cubes
– Lemon slices (for garnish)
– Fresh mint leaves (optional)
Method
1. Boil the water in a pot over medium heat.
2. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the tea bags. Steep for about 5 minutes.
3. Stir in the sugar until it completely dissolves. Then mix in the baking soda and lemon juice.
4. Allow the mixture to cool down before pouring it over ice in glasses.
5. Garnish each drink with a slice of lemon and a mint leaf, if you like.
