– 2 cups water
– 1/4 cup rose water
– 1/4 cup cashews
– 1/4 cup raisins
– 2 tablespoons butter
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon sugar
– 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder

Method
1. Rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Drain well.
2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add cashews and cook until they are golden brown.
3. Stir in the drained rice and toast it for about 2 minutes, mixing well.
4. Pour in the water, rose water, salt, sugar, and cardamom powder. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low.
