Ingredients
– 1 head of broccoli, cut into bite-sized pieces
– 3 tablespoons of olive oil
– 2 cloves of garlic, minced
– 0.5 teaspoons of salt
– 0.5 teaspoons of pepper
– 0.25 teaspoons of crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
– 0.25 cups of grated Parmesan cheese
– 1 lemon, zested and juiced
– 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
– 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds
Method
1. Start by heating the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Add the minced garlic to the oil and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
3. Toss in the broccoli pieces. Stir and cook for about 5 to 7 minutes until tender.
4. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes over the broccoli. Mix well.
5. Remove from heat. Add lemon juice, zest, soy sauce, Parmesan cheese, and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
