Delicious Spinach And Corn Pasta With Whole Wheat White Sauce

Ingredients

– 250 g whole wheat pasta
– 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
– 1 cup corn kernels
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
– 2 cups milk
– 1 cup shredded cheese
– Salt to taste
– Pepper to taste
– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Method

1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
2. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the chopped spinach and corn, cooking until the spinach wilts.
3. Add the flour to the pan and stir for about a minute to form a roux. Slowly pour in the milk, whisking to prevent lumps.
4. Cook the mixture until it thickens, then stir in the cheese until melted. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
5. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce, mixing well. Serve warm.
