Ingredients
– 500 g colocasia (taro)
– 2 tablespoons oil
– 1 teaspoon ajwain seeds (carom seeds)
– 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
– 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
– 1 teaspoon red chili powder
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice
– Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Method
1. Start by peeling and chopping the colocasia into small cubes.
2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
3. Add ajwain and cumin seeds. Let them sizzle for a few seconds.
4. Mix in the colocasia cubes along with turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Stir well.
5. Cook until the colocasia is soft, then drizzle lemon juice and garnish with fresh coriander.
