Ingredients
– 500g ground beef
– 1 onion, chopped
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 400g canned diced tomatoes
– 1 tablespoon tomato paste
– 1 teaspoon dried oregano
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 300ml beef broth
– 2 cups pasta
Method
1. Heat a large pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is soft, about 3-4 minutes.
2. Add the ground beef to the pan. Brown the meat for about 5-6 minutes, stirring frequently. Drain any excess fat.
3. Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together well.
4. Pour in the beef broth and bring the mixture to a boil. Once boiling, add the pasta and reduce the heat to low.
5. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the pasta is tender. Stir occasionally and add water if needed.
