Ingredients
– 200 g chow mein noodles
– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
– 1 red bell pepper, sliced
– 1 carrot, julienned
– 100 g bean sprouts
– 2 green onions, chopped
– 2 teaspoons soy sauce
– 1 teaspoon chili sauce
– 1 teaspoon sesame oil
– 4 large lettuce leaves
Method
1. Begin by cooking the chow mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the red bell pepper and carrot, stir-frying for about 3 minutes.
3. Toss in the bean sprouts and chopped green onions; cook for another 2 minutes.
4. Add the cooked noodles, soy sauce, chili sauce, and sesame oil to the pan. Stir everything together until well combined.
5. Serve the noodle mixture in lettuce leaves, wrapping them like tacos. Enjoy!
