Ingredients
– 4 medium-sized bell peppers
– 2 cups of cold water
– 1 tablespoon of mild dish soap
– 1 teaspoon of salt
– 1 clean sponge or cloth
Method
1. Fill a large bowl with cold water and add dish soap and salt.
2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
3. Submerge each pepper in the soapy water mixture.
4. Use a clean sponge or cloth to gently scrub the outside of each pepper.
5. Rinse the peppers under cold running water to remove soap and dirt.
