Ingredients
2 cups masa harina
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 cups warm water
Non-stick cooking spray or a small amount of oil
Method
1. Mix masa harina and salt in a medium bowl.
2. Gradually add warm water, stirring until the dough forms.
3. Knead the dough for about 2 minutes until it becomes smooth.
4. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and roll them into balls.
5. Flatten each ball using a tortilla press or a rolling pin to form thin rounds. Cook on a hot skillet for about 1 minute on each side.
