Ingredients
– 4 pork chops
– 1 cup buttermilk
– 1 cup plain flour
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1 tsp onion powder
– 1 tsp paprika
– 1 tsp salt
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
– 1/4 cup vegetable oil
– Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Method
1. First, place the pork chops in a bowl and pour the buttermilk over them. Let them soak for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
2. While waiting, mix the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a shallow dish. This will be your coating.
3. Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Make sure it is hot enough before cooking.
4. After the pork has soaked, take each chop out and coat it well in the flour mixture, pressing it on firmly.
5. Fry the chops in the hot oil for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and fully cooked. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
