Ingredients
– 4 tuna steaks (about 150g each)
– 60 ml olive oil
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
– Salt, to taste
– Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
– Lemon wedges (for serving)
– Optional: your favorite sauce for drizzling
Method
1. Start by preparing the marinade. Mix olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, black pepper, and a pinch of salt in a bowl.
2. Place the tuna steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure they are well-coated. Let them sit for about 15 minutes.
3. Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add a bit of olive oil to the pan to prevent sticking.
4. Cook the tuna steaks for about 2-3 minutes on each side. You can adjust the cooking time if you prefer them more or less cooked. They should still be pink in the middle for the best flavor.
5. Remove the tuna from the pan, plate it up, and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with lemon wedges and optional sauce if desired.
