Method

1. Begin by bringing the water to a boil in a large pot.
2. In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
3. Add the flour, baking powder, and salt into the mixture, stirring well to combine all the ingredients.
4. Shape the dough into small balls, about the size of a golf ball. Carefully drop them into the boiling water.
5. Cook the balls until they float to the surface, then let them simmer for a few more minutes before removing. Serve warm with sour cream and jam.
