Ingredients
400g mushrooms
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
2 garlic cloves
1 teaspoon thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
4 slices of bread
½ cup grated cheese
Fresh parsley (for garnish)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Method
1. Clean the mushrooms and slice them into thin pieces.
2. Heat olive oil and butter in a pan over medium heat.
3. Add minced garlic and thyme, cooking for a minute until fragrant.
4. Add sliced mushrooms, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until mushrooms are tender.
5. Serve the mushroom mixture on toasted bread, sprinkling grated cheese and lemon juice on top. Garnish with parsley.
