Ingredients
– 2 cups chickpea flour
– 1 cup water
– 2 cups fresh methi leaves (fenugreek), chopped
– 1 small onion, finely chopped
– 2 green chilies, finely chopped
– 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
– 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
– Salt to taste
– Oil for frying
– 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Method
1. Mix chickpea flour and water in a bowl, stirring until smooth.
2. Add the chopped methi leaves, onion, green chilies, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, and salt. Combine the ingredients well.
3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
4. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil, frying until golden brown on all sides.
5. Remove the fried balls and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil. Drizzle lemon juice before serving.
