Ingredients

– 6 passionfruit, halved
– 1.5 cups sugar
– 1/2 cup water
– Juice of 1 lemon
– 1 packet pectin (about 50g)
– 1/4 cup butter
– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 pinch of salt
– Jars for storing the jam

Method

1. Scoop out the pulp from the passionfruit and set it aside in a bowl.
2. In a saucepan, combine the water, sugar, and passionfruit pulp, heating over medium heat until it boils.
3. Stir in the lemon juice and packet of pectin, mixing well until it’s dissolved.
4. Add the butter, vanilla extract, and salt. Continuously stir the mixture until it thickens.
5. Pour the hot jam into your jars, seal them, and let cool before storing.
