– 500 g kumquats
– 2 cups sugar

Method

1. Rinse the kumquats under cold water and slice them in half, removing any seeds you find.
2. Place the sliced kumquats, sugar, and water in a pot. Stir to mix everything well.
3. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it comes to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low.
4. Let it simmer for about 30 minutes. The jam should thicken as it cooks.
5. Stir in the lemon juice and vanilla. Pour the jam into sterilized jars while it’s still hot.
