Ingredients
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup dried chili flakes
- 1/4 cup minced garlic
- 1/4 cup minced ginger
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon Sichuan peppercorns
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
Method
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat until it is hot.
- Add the minced garlic and ginger. Stir for about 1-2 minutes until they turn golden brown.
- Mix in the dried chili flakes, Sichuan peppercorns, salt, and sugar. Stir continuously for another 2-3 minutes.
- Remove the pan from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Finally, add sesame seeds, rice vinegar, and soy sauce. Stir well and transfer to a jar.
