Ingredients
- 300 ml warm water
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 packet dry yeast
- 500 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 egg, beaten
Method
- Pour warm water into a large bowl and stir in sugar and yeast. Wait for about 5 minutes until it becomes bubbly.
- Add flour, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg into the yeast mixture. Mix until it forms a dough.
- Add pumpkin puree, melted butter, and beaten egg. Knead the dough for 5 minutes until it’s smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a towel, and let it rise for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Shape the risen dough into balls and place on a baking tray. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
