Ingredients
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ cup milk
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup icing sugar (for frosting)
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a doughnut pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla to the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the doughnut pan, filling each cavity halfway.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes. Allow to cool, then frost with icing sugar mixed with a little milk.
