Ingredients
- 500 g chicken breast, sliced into strips
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 4 pita bread
- 1 cup lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup tomato, diced
Method
- In a bowl, combine the chicken, cumin, paprika, turmeric, garlic, olive oil, and lemon juice. Mix well until the chicken is coated.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until fully cooked.
- Warm the pita bread in a different pan or microwave for a few seconds.
- Fill each pita with cooked chicken, lettuce, and tomato. Serve warm.
