Ingredients
– 4 cups of shredded cabbage
– 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
– 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds
– 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
– 1 medium onion, chopped
– 2 green chilies, chopped
– 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
– 1/4 cup of grated coconut
– Salt to taste
Method
1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
2. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
3. Stir in cumin seeds, chopped onion, and green chilies. Cook until the onion is soft.
4. Mix in shredded cabbage, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Finally, add grated coconut and cook an additional 2 minutes.
