Ingredients
- 500 g sausage (Italian or your choice)
- 2 cups sliced bell peppers (red, yellow, or green)
- 1 cup sliced onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 400 g canned diced tomatoes
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup beef or vegetable broth
- 400 g pasta (optional)
Method
- Start by slicing the sausage into bite-sized pieces.
- Add the sausage, bell peppers, onion, and garlic to the crock pot.
- Pour in the diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, black pepper, salt, and broth.
- Cover and cook on low for about 6 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours.
- Cook pasta separately if desired, then serve the sausage and peppers over the pasta.
