Classic Deviled Eggs Recipe: Perfect For Any Gathering

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Paprika, for garnish
  • Fresh chives, chopped (optional)

Method

  1. Start by placing the eggs in a pot and cover them with water. Bring the water to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Once boiling, cover the pot, turn off the heat, and let the eggs sit for 12 minutes.
  3. After cooling slightly, shell the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a separate bowl.
  4. Mix the yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites. Sprinkle with paprika and add chives if desired.
