Ingredients

– 500 g lean minced beef
– 1 medium onion, chopped
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 400 g canned diced tomatoes
– 400 g canned kidney beans, drained and rinsed
– 1 cup beef broth
– 1 tablespoon chili powder
– 1 tablespoon ground cumin
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1 teaspoon black pepper

Method

1. Heat a large pot over medium heat and add the minced beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Stir until the onion becomes soft and translucent.
3. Pour in the canned diced tomatoes and beef broth. Mix all the ingredients well.
4. Stir in the kidney beans, chili powder, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil.
5. Lower the heat and let it simmer for about 30 minutes. Stir occasionally and enjoy.
