Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 120 ml limoncello
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 240 ml chicken broth
- Juice and zest of 1 lemon
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes (optional)
Method
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and oregano, then place them in the skillet.
- Cook for about 5-6 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
- Add limoncello, chicken broth, lemon juice, lemon zest, and garlic to the skillet. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Serve chicken with sauce, garnished with parsley and cherry tomatoes if desired.
