Ingredients
– 500 g cooked chicken, shredded
– 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1 tsp onion powder
– 1 can (400 ml) cream of chicken soup
– 2 cups buttermilk biscuit mix
– 1 cup milk
– 1 tsp dried thyme
– 1/2 cup grated cheese
– Fresh parsley, for garnish
Method
1. Preheat your oven to 200°C.
2. In a large bowl, mix the shredded chicken, frozen vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, and cream of chicken soup until well combined.
3. Spread the chicken mixture evenly in a baking dish.
4. In another bowl, combine the biscuit mix, milk, and thyme. Stir until just mixed. Pour the dough over the chicken mixture.
5. Sprinkle grated cheese on top and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the biscuit topping is golden brown. Garnish with parsley before serving.
