Delicious Chickpea Fritters With Spicy Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

– 1 can (400g) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
– 1 small onion, chopped
– 2 garlic cloves, minced
– 1/2 cup parsley, chopped
– 1 teaspoon cumin
– 1 teaspoon paprika
– 1/2 cup flour
– Salt, to taste
– Pepper, to taste
– Oil, for frying

Method

1. In a bowl, mash the chickpeas using a fork until slightly chunky.
2. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, cumin, paprika, flour, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together well.
3. Shape the mixture into small patties with your hands. Each patty should be about the size of your palm.
4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
5. Place the fritters on paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve while warm.
