Ingredients
– 1 whole turkey (about 4 kg)
– 100 ml olive oil
– 2 cups chicken broth
– 2 teaspoons salt
– 1 teaspoon black pepper
– 1 tablespoon garlic powder
– 1 tablespoon onion powder
– 2 teaspoons dried rosemary
– 2 teaspoons dried thyme
– 1 lemon, quartered
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
2. Rub the turkey outside and inside with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
3. In a bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, rosemary, and thyme. Sprinkle this mixture over the turkey.
4. Place the lemon quarters inside the cavity of the turkey.
5. Pour the chicken broth into the roasting pan and cook the turkey for about 3-4 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C.
