Easy Weeknight Pasta

Ingredients
250 g pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
400 g canned diced tomatoes
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
2 cups spinach
½ cup grated cheese

Method
1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until softened.
3. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute.
4. Add canned tomatoes, oregano, salt, and sugar. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
5. Mix in spinach until wilted and combine with cooked pasta. Top with grated cheese before serving.
