Ingredients
- 1 cup of rice
- 2 cups of water
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 carrot, diced
- 1 cup of frozen peas
- 2 cups of cooked chicken, shredded
- Soy sauce, to taste
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Method
- Start by cooking the rice. Combine rice and water in a pot, bring it to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until tender.
- Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until onion turns soft and translucent.
- Add diced carrot to the pan. Sauté for about 5 minutes until tender.
- Stir in frozen peas and shredded chicken. Mix everything together and heat through.
- Pour in soy sauce and season with salt and pepper. Stir well, and serve warm.
