Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 500 g minced meat (beef or lamb)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 can (400 g) diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon Italian herbs
- 1 cup pasta (your choice)
- 2 cups water
Method
- Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and cook until soft, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add the minced meat and cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs.
- Pour in the diced tomatoes and water. Bring to a boil, then add the pasta. Simmer until pasta is cooked, around 12 minutes.
