Ingredients
– 1 cup of flour
– 1 cup of sugar
– ½ cup of butter, softened
– 2 large eggs
– 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
– 1 ½ teaspoons of baking powder
– ½ teaspoon of salt
– ½ cup of milk
– 1 cup of chocolate chips
– Optional: icing sugar for dusting
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a baking dish.
2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
4. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Mix until smooth.
5. Gently fold in the chocolate chips. Pour into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes.
