Ingredients
– 1 kg potatoes
– 100 ml milk
– 50 g butter
– ½ teaspoon salt
– ¼ teaspoon pepper
– 1 tablespoon sour cream
– 2 tablespoons chives (chopped)
– Optional: garlic for extra flavour
Method
1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into equal-sized chunks.
2. Fill a pot with water, add the potatoes, and bring to a boil. Cook until they are soft, about 15-20 minutes.
3. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
4. Add milk, butter, salt, and pepper. Mash everything together until smooth.
5. Stir in sour cream and chopped chives. Serve warm.
