Ingredients
- 1 loaf of bread (Italian or French)
- 113 g butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 50 g grated cheese (optional)
- Aluminum foil
Method
- Preheat your oven to 200°C.
- In a bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
- Slice the bread in half lengthwise and spread the garlic butter evenly on both cut sides.
- If using cheese, sprinkle it on top of the buttered bread.
- Wrap the loaf in aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Unwrap and bake for an additional 5 minutes for extra crispiness.
