Ingredients
– 1 jar (about 700 ml) of pasta sauce
– 1 medium onion, diced
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 1 teaspoon dried oregano
– 1 teaspoon dried basil
– 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
– 1 cup grated cheese (like mozzarella or a blend)
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– 400 g pasta of your choice
Method
1. Begin by cooking the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain it and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until it becomes soft.
3. Stir in the minced garlic, dried oregano, and dried basil. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Pour the jar of pasta sauce into the skillet and let it simmer for 5 minutes. Mix in the chopped spinach.
5. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce. Top it off with grated cheese and season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
