Ingredients
- 4 mini French baguettes
- 60 ml olive oil
- 250 ml water
- 10 g salt
- 5 g sugar
- 7 g dry yeast
- 2 cups plain flour
- 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
- 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- 1 tsp dried herbs (optional)
Method
- Preheat the oven to 220°C.
- In a bowl, mix warm water with sugar and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until bubbly.
- Add salt, olive oil, and flour to the yeast mixture. Stir until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes, then let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Shape the dough into baguettes, place them on a baking tray, and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
