Ingredients
– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– Optional: icing sugar for dusting
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and grease a cake tin.
2. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well to combine.
4. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Stir until smooth.
5. Fold in the chocolate chips, then pour the batter into the prepared cake tin. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
