Sweet And Sour Braised Cabbage Recipe For Rosh Hashanah

Ingredients
1 medium red cabbage, chopped
2 tablespoons oil
1 large onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup apple juice
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika

Method
Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add onions and garlic to the pot, cooking until soft.
Stir in the chopped cabbage and sauté for a few minutes.
Pour in apple juice, vinegar, brown sugar, salt, pepper, and paprika.
Cover the pot and simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
