Ingredients
– 2 cups of plain flour
– 1 cup of sugar
– 1 cup of milk
– 1/2 cup of melted butter
– 2 eggs
– 1 tablespoon of baking powder
– 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
– 1/2 teaspoon of salt
– 1 cup of blueberries (fresh or frozen)
– 1/2 cup of powdered sugar (for icing)
Method
1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Grease a baking dish or line it with baking paper.
2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
3. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just mixed. Gently fold in the blueberries.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish. Bake for about 25-30 minutes. Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar.
