Ingredients
– 1 pork tenderloin
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– Salt, to taste
– Pepper, to taste
– 1 tablespoon garlic powder
– 1 tablespoon onion powder
– 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
– 1 teaspoon dried thyme
– 1 lemon (for juice)
– Fresh herbs (for garnish, optional)
Method
1. Start by placing the pork tenderloin on a clean cutting board.
2. Look for the silverskin, which is the shiny, silver-like membrane on the meat.
3. Use a sharp knife to carefully cut under one edge of the silverskin, angling the blade toward the meat.
4. Gently pull the silverskin away while sliding the knife along to separate it from the pork.
5. After removing all the silverskin, season the meat with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, and squeeze lemon juice on top.
