Ingredients
– 200g dark chocolate
– 150g unsalted butter
– 1 cup brown sugar
– 3 large eggs
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 cup plain flour
– 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
– 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1 cup chocolate chips
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a baking dish with butter or line it with baking paper.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a microwave or a heatproof bowl over simmering water. Stir until smooth.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk the brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
4. Mix the melted chocolate into the egg mixture. Gradually fold in the flour, baking powder, cayenne pepper, and salt.
5. Finally, add chocolate chips to the batter, pour it into the prepared dish, and bake for around 25 to 30 minutes.
