Ingredients
– 3 ripe bananas
– 250 ml sour cream
– 100 g butter, softened
– 200 g sugar
– 2 large eggs
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 teaspoon baking soda
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 250 g all-purpose flour
– 100 g chopped nuts (optional)
Method
1. Preheat your oven to 175°C. Grease a loaf pan or line it with baking paper.
2. In a big bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until smooth.
3. Add the softened butter and sugar. Mix them together until well combined.
4. Stir in the eggs, sour cream, and vanilla extract until everything is mixed nicely.
5. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients. If using nuts, fold them in last. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
