Savory Kathal Masaledaar: Delicious Raw Jackfruit Gravy Recipe

Ingredients
400 g raw jackfruit
2 tablespoons cooking oil
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 teaspoons ginger-garlic paste
2 medium tomatoes, chopped
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
2 teaspoons garam masala
Salt to taste

Method
Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat.
Add the mustard seeds and cumin seeds, stirring until they start to splutter.
Next, toss in the chopped onion and cook until soft and golden.
Mix in the ginger-garlic paste, followed by the chopped tomatoes. Cook until the tomatoes break down.
Stir in the jackfruit, turmeric, garam masala, and salt. Add some water to cover the mixture and simmer for 20-25 minutes.
