Ingredients
- 3 medium cucumbers, sliced
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup vinegar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon dill seeds
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
Method
- Wash the cucumbers and cut them into slices. Thin slices work best.
- Place the sliced cucumbers and onions in a clean jar.
- In a separate bowl, mix the water, vinegar, salt, sugar, dill seeds, mustard seeds, and garlic. Stir until the salt and sugar dissolve.
- Pour the mixture over the cucumbers and onions, making sure they are fully covered.
- Seal the jar and place it in the fridge. Let them sit for at least 24 hours before eating.
