Ingredients
– 6 fresh jalapeños
– 1 cup white vinegar
– 1 cup water

– 1 tablespoon salt
– 2 cloves garlic

– 1 small onion
– 1/2 teaspoon black peppercorns
Method
1. Start by slicing the jalapeños into rings.
2. Peel and thinly slice the onion.
3. Combine vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and dried oregano in a saucepan.
4. Heat the mixture over medium until the sugar and salt dissolve. Add the garlic and peppercorns, then bring to a boil.
5. Pour the hot mixture over the jalapeños and onions in a jar. Let it cool before sealing the jar and refrigerating.
