Ingredients
2 cups cabbage, shredded
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium tomato, chopped
1 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 cup water
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon grated coconut
Method
Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
Sauté the onion until soft, then add the tomato and cook for a few minutes.
Stir in cabbage, turmeric, chili powder, and salt.
Pour in water, cover, and cook until the cabbage is tender. Top with grated coconut before serving.
